Today's Bungie Watch is short. So short, in fact, that there's no reason not to read it. So come on, hit the jump.
The vast majority of this week's update has to do with the Battle Rifle. Luke goes pretty in-depth (and over my head) with the techno-babble, so if I were to summarize everything he wrote, it would surely come out as a mess of gibberish. Now we get to the actual update.
Bungie will not be at the San Diego Comic-Con, but Frankie and Microsoft will be, and they'll be holding a panel on Halo fiction and introducing Tobias S. Buckell, the author of the upcoming sixth Halo book. They'll also have bobbleheads!
Luke says they'll be in Seattle on August 29 through 31st. Those are the days of the Penny Arcade Expo, so I assume he's referring to that.
He mentions that 7/7 is 17 days away. Make of it what you will.
Luke leaves us with a look at the new (old) map, Cold Storage. I posted one of the pics above, one below.

How do you get these maps? And also how do you get the map packs?
That will be the next map for the new map pack and you get the map through Xbox Live

Is Cold Storage coming out with the new map pack or will it be avaiable on 7/7?
Most ppl say it's in the new map pack, but I read a thing on Wikipedia that said Bungie says it's not in there.
