Microsoft A-Ok with Master Chief in Unreal Tournament

Remember that story a few days ago about Master Chief being playable in Unreal Tournament III? Well, apparently not only is Microsoft alright with that, they're pretty happy about it.
Here's what a Microsoft attorney had to say about it:
"The developers aren't selling the mod, they're not monetizing Microsoft's IP, they're just creating something to share their love of the Master Chief on a new platform. It's a great thing for us and a great thing for the gaming community."

Well they do need all the support they can get now that Bungie departed from them.
Yeah, on got on UT3 thinking everyone would have it but no one does. Except me.
