Today's Bungie Update is short and sweet, which means that this edition of Bungie Watch is even shorter and possibly sweeter! Click onward!

So the Legendary Map Pack looms closer and closer. The official release date is April 15th, so it's time to mark those calendars.

Here's another noteworthy date: March 25th. This upcoming Tuesday at 2 a.m. Pacific time, the Heroic Map Pack will finally be free for those of you who weren't willing to shell out the dough to buy it. You better get it if you plan to play either Ranked Big Team, Social Big Team, Team Slayer, or Rocket Race, because the April playlist update will require you to have the heroic maps for those game types.

The third Legendary map, Moonlight Sonata, will be unveiled at Bungie.net next Tuesday and you can bet that will tell you all about it.

SWAT is live in the Double EXP weekend Halo 3 playlist. SWAT is a game mode that revolves around getting headshots with either the Battle Rifle or Magnum, which basically means that it's a game mode I'd be terrible at. You have no shields and spawn with a Battle Rifle with infinite ammo and grenades. Grenades and melee attack are less effective, forcing you to go the head shot route.
