Halo Wars Staff Gets a Home

A few months back it was announced that Enemble Studios would be closing after Halo Wars was completed. This was sad news, as it would leave a lot of developers without job. Today it was confirmed that Microsoft would be creating another studio for the former Ensemble crew.

"There's a new studio forming that will rise from Ensemble. They haven't announced specific plans, so I can't comment on that."

That was Graeme Devine, the lead designer on Halo Wars. While certain developers from Ensemble have ventured off on their own, such as Paul and Dave Bettern, who started the iPhone/iPod game company Newtoy Inc., it's good to know that Microsoft will be doing what they can to take care of everyone.
